In 2018 I gave myself a daily challenge to draw a face every day. These were often done with no particular person in mind, and following no reference. They generally began as a shape or line that the rest of the drawing would follow; I often liked to start with the nose and build the face around it. Below are my favourites; years later I still like looking back at these.
