Misc 2020 bookbinding
In 2020 I got into something I’ve been interested in trying for a long time: bookbinding! Ever since, I’ve really enjoyed creating my own sketchbooks, as well as sketchbooks and notebooks as gifts.
This all started after I was inspired by seeing how Ashely Nicole Deleon created her own sketchbooks. I also have enjoyed creating books with found paper, an idea I got from Ryan Heshka, after seeing how he uses old ledgers as sketchbooks.
Below are an assortment of books I made in 2020, most using wrapping paper for the covers.

Sparrowhawk
From 2021: My imagining of Sparrowhawk, from Ursula K. Le Guin’s Earthsea novels. I’ve been chipping my way through them all, in the form of a big and heavy anthology with beautiful illustrations.
